PDF-file (292.8 Kb)Reductor-Perm Motors JSC, a leading manufacturer of helicopter gear boxes and transmissions, is a subsidiary enterprise of Perm Motors JSC. The plant produces, repairs and provides maintaining of main gear boxes and transmissions for most Mifamily helicopters (Mi-8, Mi-8 MTV, Mi-14, Mi-17, Mi-26, Mi-28H, Mi-34) and P-25 and P-45 gear boxes for PAES-2500M, as well as PAES-4500 transportable power stations.
The plant takes particular pride in the fact that it was here that BP-26 gear box was developed for Mi-26 super heavy helicopter. It is the world only serial helicopter gear box to transmit power up to 23000 hp.
In December, 1999 Reductor-PM JSC was granted the Certificate No. P-CK.A07.02.0001-99 issued by Federal Air Transport Agency. This certificate confirms that quality control system of helicopter gear boxes’ and transmission’ production, repair and maintenance corresponds to ISO 9002-96 International Standards, as well as to the Russia’s standards of military equipment production.
The plant has also got the licenses No. A503080 and No. 503081 for development, manufacturing, repair and warranty maintenance of helicopter gear boxes and transmission, aircraft and gas-turbine engines (gear boxes).
The certification of VR-8A, VR-14, VR-26 repair technology opens good prospects for the company’s development. It strengthened Reductor-PM’s position on the world market and allowed to win the Indian tender for VR-14 gear box overhaul.
Long-term tests carried out on the plant’s stand confirmed high reliability of the gear boxes and allowed to extend VR-14 main gear boxes’ service lifes up to 3000 hours. It also allowed to extend commercial helicopter operation and gave
great economical effect.
The Reductor-PM works in close cooperation with its old and reliable partners. Among them there are Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, Klimov Corporation, Mi- Aeromechanics JSC, Aeromotor JSC and German RENK firm, a MAN Concern Reductor subsidiary company. Mutually beneficial cooperation with world leaders in designing and manufacturing of gear boxes opens new opportunities for the company. For example, together with RENK firm, a leading producer of industrial gear boxes, Reductor-PM is preparing production facilities for serial manufacturing of gear boxes for 12-6 MW power stations.
Reductor-PM is developing new technologies to produce transmissions for Mi-28N combat helicopter and new Ansat light helicopter. Therefore, in 21 century Russian helicopters will fly equipped with Reductor-PM products.
Gear boxes and transmissions manufactured by the company are also used in PS-90A engines and Proton space carriers production. Reductor-PM products are well-known both in Russia and abroad. Their competitiveness is undoubtedly high. The secret of success and forward progress is
